Particle
deposition asbestosis is the exposure to asbestos
particles. The severity of the damage depends on the type
and amount of exposure. More particles normally would
indicate the disease will be more severe.
There are two
kinds of deposition. When asbestos was injected or
instilled in laboratory rats, it resulted in more concentrated
and abundant particles mainly in the upper respiratory tract
(URI). When it was inhaled, as human have, it resulted in
a widespread and more even permeation of particles throughout
the lungs.
Many victims
of particle deposition asbestosis have filed lawsuits due to
work related inhalation. They were not informed of the dangers of their work and are
simply looking for compensation for their lung and respiratory
problems.
