Silica
is a compound of the chemical, silicon, and can be found in
quartz, sand, granite, flint, sandstone, and other, natural
rocks that form the earth's crust.
Inhaling silica dust causes
silicosis, a lung disease that does not have a cure. The
dust can create scar tissue in the lungs and this decreases the
lung's capability to take oxygen from the air.
Millions of people are subject
to silicosis because of their work environments. Sometimes
the result is an untimely death.
In addition to silicosis,
breathing silica dust can also cause bronchitis, tuberculosis,
and lung cancer.

regarding your health condition and contact your attorney for
your legal rights. There may be a
deadline to file your silica lawsuit so act now.
